“The best international ports to get into Sumatra are Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, both airports have regular daily flights to Medan (Kualanamu); Medan has the largest international airport in Sumatra and it is the 4th largest city in Indonesia, it has the best connectivity to domestic routes, and within a few hours drive of Medan you can enter the Leuser ecosystem.”
